| Jennifer
Sinek, MPPM, CSC, MCC,
is
a
Master
Certified
Coach (International
Coach Federation) and management consultant. She has more than
two
decades of experience working with individuals, teams and
organizations,
helping them see and be excited by the possibilities open to them – and
then
make them happen. Utilizing both conversational and somatic practices,
she
helps her clients step into their power as leaders – and authors of –
their
professional and personal lives. Ms. Sinek works with leaders in the
public and
private sectors, specializing in executive coaching, leadership
development, group
coaching, and organizational assessment and intervention.
Jennifer
is a Co-Director and Faculty member at Georgetown University, where she
teaches
Leadership Coaching and Leadership Presence. Jennifer
is
a
member
of the International Coach Federation
(ICF), and the Organization Development Network.
Coaching
and Consulting Approach
Jennifer
believes that real progress and growth come from helping leaders
clarify what
they are truly trying to achieve, offering them new ways to see both
their
particular situation and
life in general, and helping them develop
skills and
practices that
will allow them to make the changes necessary both to
attain
their professional goals and have a fulfilling, healthy life. Her
clients say that
she is remarkably talented at putting her finger on the crux of issues
in a way
that helps people both see them clearly and resolve them constructively. Insight is not enough – the ability to
take new, more effective actions is required to make a difference.
Enabling her
clients to “walk the talk” is key to their success.
It is also an important part of Jennifer’s work to leave
her
clients with the skills to continue to grow on their own and face new
opportunities and challenges as they arise.
Leadership
presence
is
a
foundation
for the ability to manage people effectively. A
leader’s ability to communicate and
connect with others, to inspire, to convey confidence, authenticity and
resilience, to manage the mood and outlook of the organization – all
these
galvanize the organization toward a common goal. Through
working
with
leaders
at the cellular level – not
just their thoughts — we empower them to become stronger, more
authentic
leaders who can stay centered in the midst of chaos or adversity,
embrace a
broader, more systemic, longer-term perspective and inspire more
effective and
creative action on the part of their teams.
